Are you interested in working with students from other disciplines on creating solutions for pressing social problems? Would you like to get more experience engaging in a design process with real-world potential?

If you answered “yes” to either of those questions, please come join us. We’ll even feed you.

Join other students from the Law School, School of Information, School of Social Work, and School of Public Health and real stakeholders as we take on the following:

The Challenge: Design a tool or process to reduce (ideally, eliminate!) the` risk of inmate medical needs not being effectively identified and addressed

Date: Friday, January 26, 1:30-5:00 pm (snacks provided)

Location: North Quad, Space 2435 (105 S. State St.)

Several stakeholders from Wayne County Health Veterans and Community Wellness, will introduce you to the context, challenges, and opportunities related to this challenge and support you with feedback throughout the process.
