Makeathon is back and better than ever!
The University of Michigan’s premier prototyping competition is back for its fifth year! Makeathon V: Redesign Reality, is happening next weekend Friday, February 2 – Sunday, February 4! Makeathon is a 36-hour building/prototyping competition held annually at the Duderstadt Center on North Campus. The competition will feature a case competition sponsored by Bosch and National Instruments and a product redesign competition.
At the competition, you will have access to a myriad of materials and toolssuch as 3D printers, dremels, acrylic, wood, and Raspberry Pi’s to build to your heart’s content for the Product Design Competition. If you want to focus your efforts on a more specialized task, the Case Competition hosted by National Instruments and Bosch will have specific challenges that you can attempt to tackle. This is a great opportunity to build a kickass product, pick the brains of leading experts in their fields, network with companies like Bosch and National Instruments, and win cash prizes!
