C-SED Storyteller

Taylor Schott is a junior at the University of Michigan, majoring in Fine Arts with a Minor in Writing through Sweetland. Outside of storytelling for C-SED, Taylor is the Art and Design Chair for Writer to Writer, Sweetland’s own literary journal. She has also worked as an Illustrator for the Michigan Daily’s design team, and as a contributor for the their Statement section.

In her free time, she likes to go for runs, read, and bake scones! As an artist with a specialty in painting and an acute interest in philosophy, Taylor works to create art that combines the calculated nature of writing and thinking with the looser, more ambiguous expressions of art on canvas. Taylor is excited to be writing to share the amazing work that C-SED hosts by chronicling the stories of those who do it, and why it matters.
