Sara Hoffman is the Assistant Director of Educational Content and Research Integration. Her work supports C-SED’s mission of creating engaging educational materials and integrating this content into engineering courses. She leads the development of SEED case studies and workshops that explore the intersection of technical and social aspects of engineering. In this process, Sara partners with instructors to co-design cases across engineering disciplines, oversees the research and writing process for new content, and supports instructors and the C-SED facilitation team in bringing these materials into classrooms.
Sara holds an MA and a PhD in History from Penn State University and a BA in Ancient Languages from Wheaton College.
