Senior Facilitator

The Center for Socially Engaged Design (C-SED) is looking for a Senior Facilitator to lead C-SED’s mission to build a more socially engaged and collaborative research environment at the University of Michigan, College of Engineering. The Senior Facilitator will work with diverse teams to create engaging experiences that foster thoughtful conversations, innovative ideas, and clear paths for collaborative work. This role will create collaborative relationships, design gatherings, facilitate participatory experiences, and guide teams of interdisciplinary faculty and stakeholders to co-create solutions that meet their needs and aspirations.  The Senior Facilitator’s expertise in design methodologies, facilitation skills, and ability to foster collaboration will create inclusive and impactful experiences and outcomes. The role will report to the C-SED Strategic Director and be part of a C-SED staff team designing and facilitating new pathways for research engagement and practice

This role builds on work developed at Michigan and often called “Grant Sprints”.
