C-SED’s Lab Assistants and Lab Managers serve as key points of contact for students, faculty, and staff using the C-SED lab, providing training on the safe operation of various tools and equipment. They maintain and organize the lab space, ensuring a clean, functional, and welcoming environment. In this role, they develop hands-on skills in woodworking, soldering, sewing, 3D printing, and more, while gaining experience in mentorship and workshop facilitation. Lab staff members co-facilitate workshops and contribute to a collaborative and engaging learning space.
