Jessica joined the team in summer 2022 as C-SED’s Office Operations and Engagement Coordinator. In her role, she supports the team by serving as the lead office administrator for daily operations, supports human resource activities, manages C-SED facilities, ensures financial well-being, and overall creates a welcoming and supportive environment to our community.
Prior to joining C-SED, Jessica worked at Ypsilanti Meals on Wheels as the Volunteer Program Manager where she grew and established a team of impactful community members, while securing over $70,000 from funding sources for the organization. Prior to 2020, she worked with Ann Arbor Parks and Recreation Department’s Volunteer and Outreach Program, GIVE365, as their lead Volunteer and Outreach Coordinator.
Jessica graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 2014 with a Bachelor’s in Psychology with a minor in Human Sexuality. Recently in 2021, she also earned a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management from her alma mater. In other lives, she has also served a total of 13 years in the restaurant industry, coached rowing with Huron High School, and held an internship at Girls on the Run. Beyond C-SED, she believes in supporting and uplifting her community and currently serves as an adopter of rain gardens within Ypsilanti through the Washtenaw County Water Resources Commissioner and is a Co-Chair for the Washtenaw Association of Volunteer Coordinators.
