Christina consistently pursues the integration of fundamental science with health impact and sustainability. Her experiences working on the mathematics behind robotic surgery at Children’s National Medical Center and the material engineering of cookstoves in Gulu, Uganda, taught her the necessity of intentional communication and intellectual flexibility. Christina hopes to continue to learn and teach how to work in-between traditional disciplines to achieve holistic solutions.
